The Currant Shed

The award-winning Currant Shed presents an eclectic and edgy seasonal menu, that translates distinctive flavours of the land to the plate.

Located at McLaren Flat, a subregion of the picturesque McLaren Vale wine district, their dishes bring together some of the best local produce the Fleurieu and South Australia has to offer.

Shottesbroke Wines Cellar Door resides on the same estate as The Currant Shed restaurant, with visitors able to take in the breathtaking views of the vineyard whilst enjoying a meal or sampling some of Shottesbroke’s delicious wines.

Located too on the premises is short-term, self-catered accommodation residence, McLaren Vale Getaways – rounding out the complete food, wine and retreat experience.

Salt Restaurant

Salt Restaurant is the Pullman Adelaide’s signature dining experience, with indoor and alfresco options set amongst a modern interior.

With views of the picturesque Hindmarsh Square, seasonal dishes are created using the finest locally sourced ingredients, with a focus on fresh South Australian produce.

An extensive list of renowned local wine and beer compliments the menu, with options for the kids and an array of sweet treats to finish.

Garcon Bleu

At Sofitel Adelaide, we refer to the cuisine at Garcon Bleu as “French Reimagined” – I describe it as looking at traditional French menu items and recreating them with a twist, embracing local ingredients in new and different ways.

Whilst I oversee the entire culinary direction of the hotel, I go back to my passion which is to spend time hands-on with Head Chef Gianni Delogu in the Garcon Bleu Kitchen.

Garcon Bleu is our 120-seater signature restaurant, boasting spectacular views across Adelaide, and earning the title for ‘Best Interior Design’ at the Asia Pacific Design Awards.

Our intent was to create a restaurant for Adelaideans to be proud of, and the response we’ve had has certainly validated our goal.

French cuisine can be thought of as being heavy and stodgy, but Garcon Bleu guests experience innovative, yet uncomplicated dishes that celebrate the best of French food and wine.

Both Chef Gianni and I are passionate also about health and portion size – that adage of ‘don’t trust a lean chef’ is definitely not true in our case!

We have many patrons that are looking for delicious taste but not over abundance, and yet for those with a healthy appetite there are plenty of side dishes to choose from.

The quality of the produce and different textures and tastes really do create a special experience.

It’s so terrific to see people out and about again, we are all thriving on it – and we welcome you to join us in celebrating the best of fine French fare at Garcon Bleu.
