Rosa Mexicano has launched a second venue on The Parade in Norwood, bringing vibrant flavours of Mexico to the area with delicious tacos and margaritas.

After opening South Australia’s first Rosa Mexicano in Glenelg last year inspired by a love for Mexican culture and iconic painter Frida Kahlo, owners Navi Sekhon and Harpal Chugh are excited to bring the sensory experience to former venue of Paul’s Fish Café on The Parade.

A fun, bright pink sets the tone of the restaurant, with “Rosa Mexicano” translating to Mexican pink and Mexican rose.

The name is also a nod to the “Pink Zone/Zona Rosa” in Mexico City known for its shopping, nightlife and pride community.

The menu showcases modern Mexican flavours, with starters such as stuffed jalapenos, street style corn, and Mexican croquettes.

Mains dishes include tacos, ensaladas, enchiladas, burritos which have a signature style and choice of fillings, platos such as chimichangas, paella and fajitas.

Families will also be able to find something for little eaters, with a ninos menu including quesadillas and nachitos, and the night can be polished off with some delicious desserts including a Nutella quesadilla, cinnamon nachos, and hot homemade churros.

A Mexican dinner isn’t complete without a refreshing drink, and the restaurant’s wide-ranging drinks menu doesn’t disappoint, complementing any dish on offer with shaken or frozen margaritas, cocktails, sangrias, wine, spirits and tequilas.

Rosa Mexicano is open daily from 11.30am – 9pm
